Anamorphosis

During Milano Fuori Salone 2022, Tai Ping showcased in its showroom Floræ Folium—an all-encompassing scenography by Sam Baron. The French designer crafted a unique installation featuring three original carpets, each celebrating the true technical capabilities of Tai Ping, resulting in a spectacular design solution that takes creativity to the next level.
Sam Baron revisited the very roots of his craft as a source of inspiration. Paper and pencil, graphite, chalks, brushes, and colors were employed to create whimsical compositions that invite our eyes to wander. Washes, lines, and color blends emerged during the creative process, from which the subtleties offered by watercolor and drawing gave rise to three distinct pieces: Regalis, Borealis, and Anamorphosis.
